THE 13th ANNUAL KRIS KRINGLE CHRISTMAS MARKET
*December 12 – 14, 2025 *
Modeled after Germany’s famous markets, this annual event offers fireworks, light displays, food, handmade crafts from over 180 local artisans, children’s activities, shopping, live music, and more.
The $5.00 adult entry fee (children 10 and under are free) gives you access to the crafters and activities that include (but not limited to) Santa’s arrival, musical holiday fireworks, Christmas tree lighting, strolling carolers, music from local school choruses and bands, an array of sales by local non-profit groups such as the Boy Scouts, a living nativity, various food vendors, a cookie contest, a model train display, children’s activities, and a lighted holiday path. The Historic McConchie School House will also be decorated and open for tours. The Fair’s Digges Farm Museum will also be open for viewing.
This family-friendly event, run by the Charles County Fair Board and launched in 2013, has turned into a Southern Maryland holiday tradition!
We want to encourage locals and visitors alike to come out to enjoy the music, shopping, and tasty Christmas treats. We will have fresh holiday decorations available for purchase from local greens collected from local yards and fields, courtesy of Cardinal Creek Plant Farm’s Garden Center. The market admission fee of $5.00 benefits The Southern Maryland Food Bank, Charles County Association of Emergency Medical Services and the Charles County Volunteer Firemen’s Association and the Charles County Fair.
Market Hours
The official tree lighting and arrival of Santa Claus will be held on Friday, December 12th at 5:00 pm.
Santa will be on site all through the Market operating hours!

A Sunday Oyster Roast – New for 2025!
Come on down on Sunday, December 14th from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM for an Oyster Roast, located near the South Gate entrance between buildings 1 and 15!
Hosted by the Charles County Waterman’s Association. Cold brews will be available from Mully’s Brewery!
** Bucket of steamed oysters (scald) – $15.00 ** Raw (1/2 shell) – 6 for $5.00 **
No fried oysters will be available.

Music/Entertainment/Food
Here are the 11 amazing musical acts that will be performing throughout the weekend at the 2025 Kris Kringle Christmas Market. Catch them on the Main Stage in Building 3 (sponsored by the Port Tobacco Players)! PLUS – we’ll have live entertainment outside that you don’t want to miss: Festive carolers from Milton Somers Middle School will kick off the market as they stroll the grounds on Friday evening and Danin’s Showbiz Boutique will make the outdoor stage sparkle & shine on Saturday afternoon at 12:30!
Take a break from your shopping by enjoying some great food from one of our fine vendors! There is an indoor dining/seating area in Building 6 (Comm B).
